Ashley Carey
Owner
Creative
Educator
Ashley's education and professional experience ranges from art to teaching to human resources. She's received several honors, scholarships, and awards for her work in fine arts and as an educator.
While she's no longer in the classroom, she absolutely LOVES putting her M.Ed to use by helping and teaching others, as well as creating educational materials. Drawing, painting, and graphic design are often her outlets that allow her to reset.
Her passion for both art and education, as well as her experiencing working for corporations, small businesses, personal brands, and microinfluencers led her to create Sunflower Studio.
Ashley is a homebody, living in Kansas City with her husband and three sons (unless they tell her otherwise). If she isn't working or mothering, she's probably reading or doom scrolling on TikTok or Instagram.
Joe Carey
Videographer Photographer
Joe's passion is in film-making, story-telling, and entertainment. By day, he works as a Content Producer for a boardgame company.
In his free time, he uses his creativity to write and direct short films (including this one that went to the Cannes Film Festival!).
He provides his incredible photo, video, and YouTube skills to Sunflower Studio's clients.
Joe also lives in Kansas City with his amazing wife and their three kids. If he's not working, with his family, or working on a passion project, he's probably playing Zelda on the Switch or D&D with friends.
